One of the key members of the San Francisco 49ers defense that helped the team reach the doorstep of Super Bowl LVI is reportedly meeting with his second potential new employer in as many days on Tuesday.
Another visit for DL Arden Key: He’s meeting with the #Jaguars in Jacksonville today, source says. Sounds like the #Lions are still very much in play but Key is taking his pre-planned visits. https://t.co/66TwpvZeRQ

Key is coming off of the best season of his four-year NFL career, as he set career-highs in quarterback hits (17), sacks (6.5) and tackles for loss (five). Key's quarterback hits and sacks ranked second on the team, only trailing Pro Bowler Nick Bosa in both categories.
The LSU product was selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the then-Oakland Raiders and spent the first three year of his career with the organization. As a rookie, he set what is still a career-high in tackles with 30, while making the only 10 starts through his four seasons thus far.
Key was limited to just seven games in 2019 after suffering a broken foot, but bounced back to play in 14 contests in 2020. That season, he produced 15 tackles, 11 quarterback hits and two passes defended.
