It's a new week in home run props, and we're looking to kick it off with a winner (or two, or three) on Monday. Let's check out our three favorite HR bets for the MLB slate.
Blue Jays at Orioles, 6:35 p.m. ET
Adley Rutschman has been much better against lefties than he's been against righties this season, but the switch hitter absolutely loves going up against Jose Berrios. In 16 career at-bats against the Toronto Blue Jays righty, Rutschman is batting .625 and slugging .938 with a home run and two doubles. Berrios is also struggling with four homers allowed and 12 earned runs over his last three starts. With the wind blowing out to left field at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, we can't think of a better situation for Rutschman.
Rays at Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET
Speaking of hitters with great matchups on Monday night, Rafael Devers will be feeling confident heading into this game against the Tampa Bay Rays. In 11 career at-bats against Rays starter Zach Eflin, Devers is slugging 1.182 with two doubles and two home runs. Devers is crushing right-handed pitching this year, and he ranks 18th in MLB among qualified hitters in barrel rate (14.3 percent). Eflin gives up a ton of fly balls, so this is a great combination for a Devers dinger.
Guardians at Rangers, 8:05 p.m. ET
Corey Seager isn't off to a great start this season with his .340 slugging percentage and only four home runs in 38 games, but he's been a bit unlucky in the power department. The star shortstop has an expected slugging percentage of .484. That 0.144 difference between his actual slugging percentage and his xSLG is the second-highest mark in MLB. This is a great chance for Seager to turn that difference around, as Cleveland Guardians starter Tanner Bibee is allowing the seventh-highest barrel rate (11.3 percent) among qualified starters.
